The ISE is chaired by the president who is supported by the secretary general and the ISE office. In January 2011 Prof. Helena Santos followed Prof. Garabed Antranikian as president of ISE.

The secretary general is responsible for the day-to-day business of the society. Please contact Dr. Ralf Grote whenever you have a question regarding membership, journal subscription or newsletter. The ISE office is located on the campus of Hamburg University of Technology. The office team consists of the secretary general and the team assistents Dr. Elleuche and Ms.Esselun.
